Diploma in Holistic Aromatherapy

Our Diploma in Holistic Aromatherapy course is:

  • Accredited by the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA)
  • Designed to meet the highest Aromatherapy standards in the UK
  • Enables you to practice as a professional Aromatherapist in the UK and abroad (except France)
  • Provides the individual with opportunities for personal development and spiritual growth

The Yorkshire School Anatomy and Physiology module (prerequisite for the course for those without existing A and P qualifications) will take place 28-29/04, 26-27/05, 23-24/06, 14-15/07 2012, and our next Diploma in Holistic Aromtherapy begins in September 2012.

120 hours of Holistic Aromatherapy

Historical and philosophical perspectives, essential oil science and safety, production and quality, methods of application and blending, in-depth study of 60 essential oils, essences and resinoids, and approx. 20 fixed and infused carrier oils, clinical practice, professional practice management and professional self-development

60 hours of Holistic Massage

The full body massage sequence, history and theory, application of massage skills, client management, practical clinical practice, legal, financial and ethical requirements, professional development
